Beyond the Runway, A Review

The Saber reviews “Throw BaQ Thursday!”

Beyond the Runway’s “Throw BaQ Thursday” fashion show was a hit! It was a night filled with bright lights, loud music, and models strutting flawlessly down the runway. The room was filled with nostalgic energy as the models showed out on the runway with amazing enthusiasm, style, and grace.

Their outfits matched spot-on with their respective decades, which were greatly varied in their styles. Attendees rocked along to songs from artists such as Mary J. Blige, Bruno Mars and many more, bobbing their heads and breaking out into constant applause. Along with an impromptu lip sync battle between volunteer audience members, the show was lively and exciting.

Almost everyone who attended had a big smile on his or her face and couldn’t help but dance along and shout in approval. The entire room went into an uproar when the organizer, Erin Gurley, owned the finale and showed everyone how she struts it on the runway!
