DIY Halloween Treats Recipes
If you have a Halloween party coming up or (or are just feeling spooky), here are some DIY Halloween treats you can make for you and your guests.
Mummy Dogs
To make these cute little hot dogs, you will need a package of hot dogs, a can of crescent rolls, and some mustard (completely optional). Start by preheating your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Make sure you have a baking sheet to place your hot dogs on. Once the hot dogs are placed on the baking sheet, unravel your crescent rolls in preparation to wrap them around each hot dog. When wrapping the hot dogs, make sure you leave enough space in between each wrap so you can still see the hot dog underneath. Place the mummy dogs into the oven and leave them in for around 11-13 minutes or until crescent rolls are lightly brown and fluffy. To decorate once they are finished in the oven, use mustard to make eyes. Serve them on a plate with some ketchup or mustard and your guests will love them.
Mini Donut Spiders
For these mini donut spiders, all you need are some mini donuts with the flavor of your choice, regular pretzels, mini M&Ms, and a sticky substance like frosting or marshmallow fluff to stick the M&Ms on the donut to create eyes. Use the pretzels to make eight legs for the spiders by sticking them into the donut on all sides. Simply take the M&Ms and attach them to the front of the donut to create eyes and there you have a cute little donut spider.
